Can ya spare any change?
I am proud to support a local grassroots effort to provide creative opportunities to children who otherwise wouldn't have access to art. So ladies (and gentlemen), check underneath those seat cushions... look in the bottom of the washer... seek out those pennies! My goal is to raise money for art supplies: not your run-of-the-mill same-old uninspiring kind, no my dears! I am donating some of my great little treasure from the far corners of my craft supplies.
As a little added incentive (even though supplying children with a vehicle for creative expression should be incentive enough), the first 20 people who donate to my Art Cents tip jar (see right sidebar) will get a FREE banner for the etsy shop or something similiar if you aren't an etsian yet.
If you are unsuccessful in your search for that loose change, but have gobs of unwanted artistic stuff laying around and want to thin out- actual supplies are happily accepted. Just shoot me an email for address info.
If neither of those option appeal to you, that's ok too. But will ya donate that spare change to a cause of your choice? Pennies don't do anyone any good when they hang out with dust bunnies...
Edited: sidenote: I just discovered that TipJar say a $2 minimum is as low as we can go. I will try to see if I can lower this amount. I'd be happy with a quarter, or even a dime!
